Baltimore Convention Center Modernization Effort Continues

Stakeholders look forward to next steps of concept design effort

Baltimore, MD – On February 4, 2020, the Maryland Stadium Authority’s (MSA) Board of Directors approved a request from the Mayor of the City of Baltimore to develop a concept design for the modernization of the Baltimore Convention Center (BCC) that aligns the program with the fiscal benefits of the modernized facility.

Maryland Stadium Authority to Release Phase Two of the Pimlico Race Course Study

Baltimore, MD – The Maryland Stadium Authority (MSA) is pleased to announce that the Phase Two, Pimlico Race Course Study is complete. The study will be available online on Thursday, December 13th at 9:00a.m. on MSA’s website. In February 2018, MSA entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with the Department of Labor, Licensing, and Regulation (DLLR) and the Maryland Racing Commission (MRC) to manage and complete the Phase Two of the Pimlico Race Course Study by year end.

Pimlico Race Course Phase 2 Study Public Meeting

The Maryland Stadium Authority (MSA) welcomes community members and leaders to participate in the Pimlico Race Course Phase 2 Study Public Meeting. This meeting is part of the community outreach effort by the MSA and its study partners to gather insights and ideas as part of the Pimlico Race Course Study. The public meeting agenda will include a study overview and timeline plus an opportunity for community members to provide their feedback. Guests who wish to attend the public meeting are kindly asked to complete the Pimlico Race Course Study Questionnaire and RSVP in advance.
