Maryland Stadium Authority Leaders Complete Prestigious Professional Development Programs

Baltimore, MD - The Maryland Stadium Authority (MSA) is pleased to announce that two members of its leadership team successfully completed prestigious professional development programs. MSA’s Phillip Hutson, CCM, LEED AP, Associate Vice President, Capital Projects and Planning received his certificate of completion from Greater Baltimore Committee (GBC)’s Baltimore Leadership Development Organization, or The Leadership and Al Tyler, Vice President, Economic Development, Capital Projects Development Group graduated from Leadership Maryland.

Both professional development programs focus on the city and state’s most vital social, economic and environmental issues then enables participants to become more effective leaders individually and collectively. “On behalf of the Maryland Stadium Authority, I congratulate Phil for completing Baltimore’s The Leadership and Al for graduating from Leadership Maryland. These prestigious professional development experiences will further empower our leaders to fulfil MSA’s mission to provide enjoyment, enrichment, education, and business opportunities for our citizens” said Michael Frenz, Executive Director, Maryland Stadium Authority.

MSA was established by the General Assembly in 1986 to build, manage and maintain quality facilities to retain Major League Baseball, and return the National Football League to Maryland. In addition to operating the Camden Yards Sports Complex real estate assets on behalf of the State of Maryland, MSA also oversees feasibility studies and construction projects for local municipalities or state agencies upon request. To date, MSA has completed $3 billion of projects around the state.
