Ocean City Convention Center Space Master Plan and Parking Demand Study

In September 2023, the Maryland Stadium Authority (MSA) Board of Directors approved a request from the City Manager for the Town of Ocean City (TOC) for MSA to manage a space master plan and parking demand study for the Roland E. Powell Convention Center in Ocean City, MD. The TOC requests the use of MSA’s on-call market, economic, and business consultant Crossroads Consulting Services LLC to perform the study. The cost of the study is $57,500 and the TOC has committed to fully fund the effort. In October 2023, the MSA Board of Directors approved a Memorandum of Understanding between the TOC and the MSA which formalizes MSA’s relationship and expected role on the project, which was negotiated and approved by the TOC City Manager. 

On March 11, 2025, MSA was pleased to present the report that Crossroads Consulting Services, LLC, in conjunction with Populous and Walker Consultants, has completed with its scope of services related to preparing a conceptual space master plan for future expansion of the Ocean City Convention Center and a parking demand analysis.
