In June 2011, Prince George’s County asked the Maryland Stadium Authority to conduct a market and economic analysis to determine the economic impact of attracting the Washington Redskins Training Center and Team Headquarters to an undeveloped, county-owned site near Bowie State University and the MARC Station.
The market study and initial site analysis was conducted by Crossroads, Inc. However, the Redskins announced they would be staying in Ashburn, Virginia before the study was released.
