Baltimore State Center Alternative Land Use Study

In March 2017, the MSA Board approved a request from the Department of General Services (DGS) to conduct a study of the State Center site in Baltimore City as a possible location for an arena.

In May 2017, the MSA Board approved DGS’s additional request to expand the scope of study to include an analysis for development alternatives for the site.

In January 2018, the Baltimore State Center Alternative Land Use Study was completed and published on MSA’s website. 

In June 2018, the MSA Board approved DGS’s request to provide a proposal to oversee a solicitation that will engage the private sector in the development of State Center site. The solicitation will be conducted in three-steps including an Expression of Interest (EIO), Request for Information (RFI) and Request for Proposal (RFP).
