
Michael J. Frenz has been the Executive Director of the Maryland Stadium Authority (MSA) since December 2008. As Executive Director, Frenz oversees the strategic efforts and fiduciary responsibilities of MSA. Prior to joining MSA, Frenz was the Executive Vice President of Ginnie Mae, the federally-owned mortgage security issuer.
Before his tenure at Ginnie Mae, Frenz served with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development in Salt Lake City, Utah where he worked with the Salt Lake Organizing Committee for the 2002 Winter Olympics on housing-related issues. Earlier, he worked with a real estate developer and as a portfolio manager for a super regional bank.
He earned a Bachelor of Arts from Yale University, a Masters of Business Administration from Syracuse University and is the holder of a CFA charter.
