Illumination - International Overdose Awareness Day - Purple

At dusk on August 31, 2025, the request of the Baltimore City Health Department, in honor of International Overdose Awareness Day, M&T Bank Stadium will be illuminated purple. This day aims to raise awareness of overdose, reduce stigma surrounding drug-related deaths, and honor the lives lost to the opioid crisis. This illumination serves as a powerful visual statement of the City of Baltimore's commitment to compassion, prevention, and support for individuals, families and communities affected by overdose.
