Illumination - Esophageal Cancer Awareness Month - Blue

On April 7th, M&T Bank Stadium will join landmarks, buildings, and homes to shine a powerful periwinkle blue beacon in the night sky of Baltimore and help  share a life-saving message during Esophageal Cancer Awareness Month. ​

The type of Esophageal Cancer that is increasing so rapidly is caused by acid reflux or heartburn – and most people are not aware of that fact. Sadly, patients often learn about the link between heartburn and cancer when it is too late to save their lives. That’s one reason that raising awareness about Esophageal Cancer is so important.
