Location: Camden Yards Sports Complex, Baltimore, MD
Hiring Range: $21.24-$26.55/hr. (Commensurate with experience and qualifications).
Status: Contractual, Full Time (Hybrid Work Schedule)

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Executive Assistant I provides foundational executive-level support to managers or directors within the Maryland Stadium Authority (MSA). This role coordinates schedules, prepares documents, and facilitates internal communications while serving as an ambassador for process execution.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide administrative support to department managers and directors.
Manages calendars, coordinate meetings, and route documents.
Serves as an ambassador for internal processes including travel, training, and procurement submissions.
Acts as an intermediary for Management, maintaining frequent contacts with public and private executives, professional staff and other officials.
Performs other duties and functions appropriate to the position as assigned and required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

- Demonstrated attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy in interpreting, entering, and verifying data
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of the organization
- Experience coordinating projects and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Proficiency in administrative writing, reporting, and tracking processes
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively while meeting deadlines
- Working knowledge of Google Workspace, including Gmail and Google Calendar
- Experience operating standard office equipment and administrative systems
- Ability to quickly learn and apply knowledge of the agency’s mission, programs, organizational structure, and procedures
- Understanding of organizational operations, including reporting structures, staffing patterns, and workflow processes
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, both virtually and in person
- Ability to communicate information clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive information
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in both remote and in-office environments
WORKING ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Environment — Work may be performed in a standard office, at home, or in a satellite location. Telework requires a designated, distraction-free workspace that ensures the protection of confidential information. Occasional overtime, including evenings and weekends, may be required.
Physical — Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods, lift up to 15 pounds, and use standard office equipment, including repetitive hand movements (e.g., typing). Ability to communicate effectively to exchange information.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
Education: High School diploma or GED required
Experience: 3+ years of administrative experience including executive support. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and internal tracking tools.
Substitution: Five (5) years of related administrative or paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the required education
PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience supporting multiple staff or departments.
- Familiarity with public sector documentation and form workflows.
LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS
Employees in this classification may be required to operate a motor vehicle. A valid Maryland driver’s license is required if assigned such duties.
