St. Mary’s County Potential Sports Complex, Phase 2 - Preliminary Design

In October 2023, the Maryland Stadium Authority (MSA) Board of Directors approved a request from the President of the St. Mary’s County Commissioners for the MSA to manage a phase 2 preliminary design effort for a potential sports complex in St. Mary’s County. The phase 1 market and economic study was completed in October 2020 (click here to download) . The preliminary design will include conceptual design, site assessment, archeological environmental and geotechnical analysis, cost estimate, and business advisory services. St. Mary’s County has committed $125,000 to fully fund the cost of the preliminary design effort.
