In December 2020, the MSA Board of Directors approved a request by the President of Coppin State University for the MSA to conduct a preliminary design of a new proposed Public Safety Building in the City of Baltimore. The General Assembly of Maryland have identified the new proposed Public Safety Building as a priority project. Coppin State University will fully fund the design cost of $450,000 through the State Capital Budget (SB 191).
