
Rachelina Bonacci joined the Maryland Stadium Authority (MSA) team as its Public Information Officer in 2017. Bonacci collaborates with senior leadership then implements communications strategies and tactics that advance the MSA and its work across various earned and owned media to best inform constituents and stakeholders. Bonacci also serves as MSA's Veterans' Services Specialist, Legislative Liaison, Constituent Services Liaison, and as a loaned executive to the Maryland Charity Campaign.
Prior to joining the MSA, Bonacci spent more than 20 years honing her skills in marketing, communications, sales, and events management in aviation, hospitality and government. She was honored to receive the Maryland Tourism Advocate of the Year Award recognizing her efforts at Visit Howard County.
Bonacci holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of Maryland at Baltimore County (UMBC) and completed professional certificates in Digital Marketing and Social Media Management from Georgetown University’s School of Continuing Studies. Recently, she served on the Public Relations Society of America's National Capital Chapter's Board of Directors. Previously, Bonacci served on Maryland Tourism Coalition's Board of Directors, chaired the Maryland Association of Destination Marketing Organizations and completed Leadership Howard County.
