In May 2024, the Maryland Stadium Authority (MSA) Board of Directors approved a request from the Mayor of the Town of Ocean City (TOC) for the MSA to manage a phase 2 preliminary design and engineering effort for the Ocean City Sports Complex in Ocean City, Maryland.
The preliminary design will include site evaluation, site selection, preliminary design, and cost estimates.
The TOC will be using $900,000 from the TOC general fund balance and a local bond initiative from the General Assembly to fund the cost of the preliminary design effort.
